Stimulation of skin regeneration with PDRN:
The application of PDRN significantly increased the expression of key genes involved in skin regeneration and quality, such as KGF, VEGF, SOD2, and AQP3, outperforming both the control group and conventional DNA. Simultaneously, it favorably modulated metalloproteinase activity by reducing MMP2, which is related to dermal matrix degradation, and upregulating MMP9, which is associated with tissue remodeling processes.
